Brain drain refres to the immigration of scientists, Engineers , Doctors and other technically qualified persons usually from an undunderdeveloped and underdeveloping country to a more advanced or developed country. Every year hundreds of skilled professional and Sri Lankans trained aboard make frantic effort to leave Sri Lanka and stoy aboard. There are some sad facts behind the great brain drain in Sri Lanka.
