How I spent lock down holidays..

          It was the 12th march 2020. I was shocked to hear that all the schools would be closed until further notice. 

        

          

                The government declared an island wide curfew. Some people said that the country was locked down. I did not understanding anything at first. Later my parents explain me everything. It was done to protect the country from the deadly corona virus.

               The school were closed while we were preparing for the first term test. However I had a glimmer of happiness because I thought the schools will be re opened before end of april. So I started working hard for the term test. But after about one week I had to give up my hopes. The situation in tje country was turning bad to worst. More corona patients started reporting from the country. 

                               Soon the teachers started sending loads of work on whatsapp and other social media. I had lots of work to do. Some teachers tought us online too. I was a new experience for me. Some times I helped my parents in the garden. We cultivated brinjals, chilly , tomato 🍅 etc. 

                        We did not go out for the new year. However we did not have any new clothes for the new year. I wished all my friends and the relations on the telephone. Children had many programs on Tv. I watched most of them. I just wanted to know when the schools would be re opened. I was looking forward to hear that breaking news.
